Summonari don’t trust. Under their command, they summon any number of creatures from the Otherwolds—but never trust them outside of the summoning.
Gargoyles don’t love. Fierce descendants of dragons, they function on power and fear—never love.
Karla isn’t the happily-ever-after type of girl. No territory-hungry guy is going to stick flags all over her unclaimed grounds.
Kann’s world is death and betrayal. As Dar Primus of Haus Varis, he’s expected to follow tradition but he’s not your regular gargoyle. In fact, he’s anything but.
One fateful Friday night, Otherworlds collide. Stuck together in one world or another, Karla and Kann face everything from Awakenings and turbulent love to Festnavals and bloodthirsty scorned suitors.
If there’s one thing they can’t escape, it’s the addiction to each other. And they’ve got it bad.
Welcome to the Gargoyle Addiction blog tour. *waves enthusiastically*
This was an up and down and up and down sorta book. It would be all good then someone would do something that I really didn’t approve of and be all like ‘oh crap, what just happened.’ I found it amusing.
The book was about overcoming lust and finding love, believing in yourself and discovering what you want.
When Karla’s really awesome friend gives her an ARC copy of a book she’s been waiting FOREVER for, she can’t wait to read it. I think we can all relate to that. When she finally gets to sleep, she makes a wish that changes everything. She wishes for Kann. The evil gargoyle from the book.
When they see each other, it’s MEGA (like meteorite sized) ista attraction. At first it’s Kann who’s all, we can’t be together so I’m going to be a complete meanie head about everything on this stupid realm of earth. Yeahhhh…that didn’t go so well.
Then into the book, it was like they switched roles. Huh.
Overall I found this world enchanting and magical. Kann was somewhere in between swoon-worthy and really annoying. Karla was strong but still needed someone to care for her. Between finding themselves and each other, they found something neither of them were expecting, or wanted, but can’t live without: belonging & love.
Although I found the ending a little bit sudden, I am curious to find out what happens next. I do wish there was a cliff-hanger at the end though. I want to know what happens with Mr Dragon
- “I looked out the window on reflex. Harry? A spy? Cute little Harry with his blue tie had turned against me? What has the world come to?
- “And my dragon was more determined than ever Karla would be mine entirely, irrecoverably, undoubtedly mine, just as I was hers.”
